There are various styles of wedding photography. We prefer to capture your wedding in a story telling way, focusing on documenting all of the moments, emotions & details as naturally & authentically as possible.

Yes! Upon receiving your images, you also get a full copyright release.

Each photographer has their own unique style of editing. Some prefer a colour-toned look, or dark and moody, others prefer bright and airy etc. There is no right or wrong way, it’s a personal choice each photographer makes, that reflects the style or mood they are trying to create. I personally prefer to keep the colours as authentic as possible ensuring timeless images that won’t date as trends change.
*** Before booking your wedding photographer is essential to view a portfolio of their work to ensure their style is what you desire.

There will usually be two photographers at your wedding, in order to get multiple perspectives & extra shots of all the guests, moments & details.

The Photographer you book for your Wedding day needs to be someone you can trust & feel comfortable with, as we will be working together before, during & after your big day. Send me an email at hello@michellemckoyphotographer.com.au and I can give you more information on this. A 25% deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. Four weeks prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.

You are welcome to use your own print lab, however, there is no guarantee of the colour or quality of your photos. Each print lab’s colours & paper types will vary. When ordering your prints, canvases & albums directly through me, I oversee all printing orders personally, to ensure the highest quality of your precious memories.

After your wedding photographer delivers your images you will often have hundreds of your beautiful wedding photos in an online gallery or stored on a USB, in a pretty box.
Did you know that the majority of couples never get around to printing their images. All of those memories remain on that USB, when instead they could be printed in a quality album or hanging on the wall as a canvas or framed print, for the family and future generations to enjoy.
