Hi I’m Michelle
Hi! I was born and raised down in the south west of WA, in a tiny blink and you’ll miss it town called Rocky Gully.
My family moved to Kalbarri, where I lived for 18 years, before moving to Geraldton 18 years ago.
I am blessed to be a wife, Mum to 1 and Step Mum to 2, all boys! As well as 2 adorable grandsons.
Travelling with my camera is my happy place in life. I love photographing anything and everything, especially landscapes and aerial landscapes.
I have photographed most genres of photography from abstract, landscape, portrait, commercial, travel , macro and food. But Weddings have become my favourite genre…. there is a little bit of all of the other genres in each wedding.
Most importantly for me Wedding photography is all about the people, relationships and the responsiblity of understanding what each couple dreams of for their big day and how then to bring their dreams alive through our many lenses.
Weddings certainly can be fast paced with the need to think quickly, but provides endless opportunities to be creative and capturing beautiful memories, authenic reflections of one of the most important days in a lifetime. Timestamps then transformed into fine art prints, wall art and albums, then passed down from generation to generation. What an honour!
Hi I’m Jodie
Hi!I was born in Geraldton and have lived in and around the Geraldton area most of my life and wouldn't live anywhere else, as I love the relaxed country lifestyle it offers. I'm now based in Buller in the beautiful Shire of Chapman Valley where I live with my husband and dog.
Photography has always interested me and I have been photographing horse sports on and off for nearly 30 yrs. I have always had a great love of horses and for many years I owned and showed Dressage and Show horses.
Having a great love of family history I helped to preserve and digitise all the photos in the museum at North Island in the Houtman Abrolhos archipelago, where my family was one of the first crayfishing families to fish there.
I've been a member of the Geraldton Camera Club since 2011, I’ve been on the committee for most of that time. This included 3 yrs as Vice President and 3 yrs as President, with Michelle being my Vice President - we were a great team.
Michelle and I first met through our love of photography and have now teamed up again to work in the wedding photography industry.
Being a wedding photographer is a great opportunity for me to combine my love of both photography and family history. I feel very privileged to be able to help others document their own history for generations to come, with artistically beautiful and dramatic images.
