Michelle McKoy Photography | About

I have always loved taking photographs and capturing life memories. I decide to purchase my first DLSR, a Canon 500D, about 6 years ago. I had no idea how to use it, so attended a night course in Geraldton.

Whilst in beautiful New Zealand, I was inspired to learn more and attended an afternoon course with Queenstown Photography Safari. Run by Award winning husband and wife team Mike Langford & Jackie Ranken. This day changed my life and opened my eyes to a capturing a world of beauty through the camera.

Upon returning to Australia I enrolled with the Photography Institute. I completed my Diploma of Professional Photography. I then elected to complete an Advanced Module of Landscape/Travel Photography followed by Adv Wedding and Food Modules. I have completed many online courses and love expanding my learning to improve my skills, when ever possible.
